Veritas Lighthouse is a Christ-centered writing ministry committed to shining the light of God’s Word in a world where clarity is fading and compromise is common. We exist to bring Scriptural truth into focus—both for the lost who do not yet know Christ, and for the Church that, in many places, has grown dim in its understanding and practice of God’s commands.
This ministry is not just about information; it's about transformation. Through thoughtful, Spirit-led writing, we aim to stir hearts, challenge minds, and draw believers into deeper obedience and joy in Christ.
Abigail Jensen is the founder of Veritas Lighthouse. Raised in a ministry family, Abigail developed a love for Scripture and a deep passion for the Church from an early age. By 16, she had completed her Associate of Arts in Creative Writing, and by 18, she earned her Bachelor of Science in Psychology: Christian Counseling.
Combining her academic background with a Spirit-led passion for biblical truth, Abigail founded Veritas Lighthouse to equip believers with a deeper understanding of God’s Word and to encourage a life of genuine discipleship. She believes the Church today is in desperate need of a revival in biblical literacy and obedience—and that revival begins with truth, clearly spoken and courageously lived.
At Veritas Lighthouse, our mission is to bring light where confusion has taken root. Jesus said, “You are the light of the world” (Matthew 5:14)—and we believe that light is meant to shine both outward to the lost and inward to a sleeping Church.
Our goal is not only to share the truth, but to sharpen it, strengthen it, and send it forth through:
Gospel Proclamation — boldly sharing the ministry of reconciliation with those far from God (2 Corinthians 5:18–19)
Church Strengthening — using our gifts to build up the Body of Christ in truth and love (1 Peter 4:10)
Godly Glorification — writing and living in a way that magnifies the Lord above all else (Romans 11:36)
We accomplish this through writing, teaching, and studying Scripture deeply, and sharing that journey with you. As we grow in our understanding, we invite others to grow with us.
Veritas is the Latin word for truth. A lighthouse is a beacon—steadfast, unshaken, cutting through the storm. Together, the name represents what we stand for: eternal truth shining in a dark world. In a culture where even the Church can lose its footing, we aim to be a lighthouse rooted in the unchanging Word of God.
